rumors have been circulating that warner
brothers
is once again interested in doing a
joker and Harley movie
starring Margot Robbie and I assume
Jared Leto's
joker right because he is the joker who
was introduced
with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn back
in 2016 suicide squad
so I would think that would mean he
would have to be the one in the movie
I know you know Joaquin phoenix's joker
was of course an award-winning
success but his joker has nothing to do
with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn
so I wouldn't think they would have the
walk has Joaquin phoenix
in as the joker in that movie, it would
have to be Jared Leto's Joker
now if this is true I want to stress
this is a
rumor I want to make sure all my rumor
you know their rumors I'm not
saying this is the facts is going to
happen
this is just popped up again in the last
couple of days
that this is back on the table now it's
interesting though because a while
a little while back there were rumors
also, that warner brothers wanted to have
Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in tons of
movies because she was a big character
Harley Quinn's very popular Margot
Robbie
is a popular actress Margot Robbie's
version of Harley Quinn
is very popular went over well she was
like the breakout star of 2016 suicide
squad
but um when she got you to know the first
Harley centric movie on her own sort of
on her own birds of prey
that movie underperformed severely so
then there were rumors saying you know
warner brothers was putting the brakes
on Harley queen projects
after you know they saw the data come
back that their harley quinn centric
movie birds of prey
didn't do that well now she is i assume
front and center
going to be front and center in James
Gunn suicide squad which is supposed to
come out next year
and you know if that movie is successful
and she's successful in it
then you know warner brothers might you
know think uh once again you know let's
do some more Harley Quinn projects i
guess maybe this is a character people
want to see
so maybe one of the Harley Quinn
projects that could spin out of that
would be a joke or a Harley movie now
it would make sense from a storyline
perspective because
we haven't really seen too much of you
know Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's Joker
together
you know them as a couple and how they
broke up
that might have been one of the things
wrong with birds of prey right it was
supposed to be about Harley quinn's
emancipation from the joker
but we never really got to see you know
her decision to leave him what happened
there's a whole
whole storyline there we never got to
see
so you know this joker and harlow movie
might be important for both characters
because joker and harley are so it
that dynamic is so important to each
characters like
emotional development and journey as
characters especially harley because
she like has to start out as a joker
groupie right
and then she has to decide later on to
leave him and be her own woman
but we never really got to see that we
just got to see you know
she's with joker and suicide squad and
then boom
she's left them and she's
with the birds of prey
but there's a whole gap in between that
with a lot that's missing
so maybe this joker and harley movie
could actually show
what happened you know how they were
together
why they broke up or you know maybe it
will take place after the breakup where
he runs into each other they run into
each other again
and it brings up all these old memories
maybe they get back together maybe they
don't get back together maybe they fight
against each other there's like a war
two bitter exes right there are a lot of
storyline possibilities but
i think it would make sense because
there's a lot about you know the joker
and Harley dynamic
that they kind of skipped over and
didn't really give us
that maybe they should have before they
showed you know harley's emancipation
you know just from a storytelling
perspective right
you will not want to skip that you want to
tell it organically
in you know sequential order so maybe
this joker and Harley movie
if it's true that rumor is true that
they're considering this
maybe this could give us what we
probably should have seen a lot earlier
from these two characters in their
relationship
