Hello everybody so the new review for you
guys today which of the upcoming netflix
film and Nola homes
I actually quite like mysteries
especially stuff related to sherlock
holmes content whether it be the
classics or even the more recent stuff
with guy richie's robert daddy junior
films
or even the bbc sherlock holmes show
starting bed at Cumberbatch
I'm always there I like a good mystery i
like the characters but I was really
intrigued to see them do
this Enola home stuff because I mean
they're not canon books but they're
still
relatively fun I mean I like the first
couple that I did read back in the day
but it seemed like a fun concept
especially when you get someone like
millie bobby brown to play the titular
role
obviously she's quite popular on Netflix
already with the stranger, things show
so it seems like another natural
evolution to have her be a star of a big
NetFlix film so i can talk about it with you
guys early so this film is about Enola
discovering that her mother is missing
so she sets off to find her becoming a
super sleuth in her own right as she
outwits her famous brother sherlock
and unravels a dangerous conspiracy
around a mysterious young lord i
actually had a really great time with
this film like i know netflix is trying
to look for their next big franchise
that they want to have for their
platform
and honestly, i really think that this
has the potential to be that for them if
they want to make this into a potential
franchise opportunities it has that
perfect blend of action
suspense but also the mystery element is
top-notch here too keeping you guessing
the whole way through the film as i
previously mentioned when I talked about
the trailer this cast is stacked whether
it be millie bobby brown and Enola holmes
henry Cavill
sherlock holmes sam Claflin as Moriarty
or even Helena bottom carter as Mrs
holmes
this cast is stacked I mean there's so
much talent but millie bobby brown
really is the standout here once again
elevating the movie with her performance
her personality really shines through
here her wit her charm
Enola is pretty great her character even
touched upon mature topics related to
women at the time and attempting to have
their own independence away from men
which I think is a nice touch because we
do get the fun action mystery elements
of the story but they do touch upon the
mature themes as well
and I like that they had that really
good balance here also I just loved
henry Cavill playing sherlock holmes i
mean he just
he looks the part he's got the charming
charisma down like i would honestly
watch movies of him at sherlock holmes
even beside him being with Enola in
this I think all of them have really
great chemistry Enola
Sherlock and Moriarty, so I really think
that they really could expand on these
characters in future films if they
really want to which I'm really hoping
for just because
they're awesome yeah I had a really
great time with the NOLA homes I went
and expecting a really fun action-filled
adventure and I got just that if not
more
I really think that this should be spun
off into a franchise I really love this
whole setup for this film
everyone in it was fantastic and if you
like
fun action-adventure mysteries I really
think that you should check out this
film when it airs on Netflix later this
month but those are just my thoughts on
Enola homes make sure to leave a comment
